The rescue knife ESP with a serrated blade is a professional tool designed for uniformed services, paramedics and civilian users who want to expand their EDC set. The version with a combo blade guarantees the greatest versatility.
ESP is a folding knife with a unique design that combines the features of a standard knife, a cutter for fabric handcuffs and a tool for emergency glass breaking.
The knife has a partially serrated combo blade with a length of 100 mm made of AUS-8 stainless steel, which is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and chipping, is easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well.
The serrated cutting edge is ideal for cutting ropes, straps, belts and high-density materials, e.g. when cutting car seat belts or freeing a person trapped in a harness.
The blade is coated with PVD (physical vapor deposition), which reduces wear and tear and provides additional protection against corrosion. The unfolded blade is securely locked with the proven liner lock mechanism, which can be conveniently operated with the thumb.
The knife handle is made of durable PA66 plastic. The fine texture and ergonomic profile of the handle ensure a firm grip and easy handling of the knife, which is particularly important for uniformed services and emergency services.
The clip for attaching the knife to a pocket or equipment is partially embedded in the handle, so it practically does not protrude outward, which contributes to the comfort of use. The knife also has a lanyard attachment or a retractor.
The ESP is equipped with a shaft breaker (tungsten carbide tip) and a multi-purpose cutter for quickly cutting through clothing, seat belts and textile handcuffs. The special shape of the blade protects the injured person from accidental injury.
